Everyone wants safe streets, thriving local businesses, engagement in their community, and the support to make their dreams a reality.  Neighborhoods should be a source of strength; a bedrock where personal success is rooted, not a barrier to achieving personal goals.  

 

Guided by an approach that starts with the common wants and needs of all people in all neighborhoods, Commonhood seeks to make a meaningful impact in communities disproportionately affected by decline. 

 

Our place-based strategy will leverage conventional capital sources along with mission-driven public and private funding opportunities to develop innovative ways that achieve both substantial social impact and financial returns for all stakeholders.
